Sometimes even Fede Vega of Maui isn't sure which pitcher will show up when he takes the mound.
"I've been good sometimes and bad sometimes," he said.
This time he made the Aberdeen Iron Men look bad 3-0.
Vega tossed a 5-hit shutout against them, totaling 4 strikeouts and giving up 1 walk.

With June's Colonial League Rookie of the Month title slung over his shoulder, Bob Torralbo has no reason to be modest about his statistical output. But he was, telling SION reporters, "I just put the bat on the ball a lot and a lot of them fell in. It was just my month to shine."
The 23-year-old blistered the baseball last month as he posted a .402 batting average, 39 hits, 1 home run, 15 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
Hitting .315 to date, Torralbo has 7 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 78 games.
