| Breaking News |  | Thursday, September 5th, 2019: Summits Win Round 3
The celebrations have begun. The streets are alive with people and the confetti is flying. The Cascadia Summits have done it -- they won the 2019 Round 3. The Summits defeated the Honolulu Tourists 7-1 at Summits Ballpark to take the title. Cascadia took the series 4-2 for their 1st Independent League championship.
After the game, the victorious Summits manager told the secret to his team's great season and Round 3 triumph, "The harder you work, the luckier you get," he said. "As far as I'm concerned, I'm the luckiest guy in the world today."
The new champions finished first in the regular season with a 75-45 record in the Campbell League Smythe.

Ruben Morabito of the Honolulu Tourists was firing on all cylinders against the Knoxville Rebels. He blanked them 5-0 on 1 hit and posted 4 strikeouts and 4 walks.
This season Morabito has 15 wins and 7 losses and a 2.83 ERA.

| Sunday, August 4th, 2019: Drewery Dominates Charleston
Brad Drewery of the Honolulu Tourists blanked Charleston 13-0 on 6 hits. He rang up 7 strikeouts, keeping batters off balance all day long.
Currently Drewery has a record of 9-10 with 94 strikeouts and 72 walks in 147 innings and a 5.33 ERA.
