| Breaking News |  | Friday, September 20th, 2019: Wiltz Hurt, Out for 3 Weeks
Edward Wiltz of the Bradford Bulls could be headed for the disabled list after suffering fractured ribs in a game against the San Francisco Rebels. He is expected to miss at least 3 weeks. The Bradford right fielder was injured making a defensive play. Wiltz said, "Right now I am pretty sore and I don't feel very good at all."
In 2019 Wiltz is batting .277 with 9 home runs and 46 RBIs.

 | Sunday, September 1st, 2019: CL Spotlight Shines on Rookie Star
The best Colonial League rookie in August was Bradford's left fielder Gene Ross.
He hit .346 with 36 hits, 2 home runs, 14 RBI and 12 runs scored. He also walked 7 times to compile his .389 OBP.
So far this year Ross is batting .330 with 11 home runs.

| Saturday, August 31st, 2019: 5-5 Day for Ross!
It's not something you read in the sports pages everyday -- a 5-for-5 day. It may only come around once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Gene Ross got one today. He scattered hits all over The Bull Ring to pace Bradford to a 12-1 victory over Border City.
The Border City skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Ross hit several that he is not supposed to hit."
G. Ross singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off F. Torre in the 8th.
In the 2019 season Ross is hitting .330 with 11 home runs.
