 | Saturday, June 1st, 2019: Torralbo 5-5 Against Outlaws There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Bob Torralbo of the Maui Monsoon had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today in the 15-6 win over the Border City Outlaws at Monsoon Stadium. The 23-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day...enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." B. Torralbo singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off T. Houck in the 7th. In 2019 Torralbo is batting .289 with 57 hits, 7 home runs, 28 RBIs, 28 walks, .382 OBP and has scored 33 runs. He has played in 54 games. |
