The shortstop for Seattle put up a .359 average as he pounded out 177 hits, 28 doubles, 5 triples, 40 home runs, 106 RBIs and scored 129 runs.
For being named the FL's best batter Machado will be honored at the SION Baseball Writers awards banquet this weekend. |  | Friday, November 8th, 2019: Magana Wins CL 2019 MVP Award 2019 was a very good year for San Francisco Rebels center fielder Alfonso Magana, this year's Colonial League MVP Award recipient.
Magana had a marvelous season, hitting .356 with a .474 on-base percentage. He totaled 175 hits, 26 doubles, 5 triples, 37 home runs, 102 RBIs and scored 107 runs.

In a standout year he went 26-6 in 36 starts with 228 strikeouts in 270.2 innings and an impressive 2.26 ERA.
